With petrol price keep increasing, green diesel engine is the way to go. Not only cheaper fuel price, but better fuel consumption and higher torque. With proper sound proofing, green diesel engine is no longer as noisy as old diesel engine and also almost as smokeless as petrol engine.

yup, the condition is so teruk, the axle and gear box problem was exists since i bought it 6 years ago...
but still can use untill today without breakdown ... the only things i changed in 6 year was tubo charger / cluch and brake pad.. but the car's wiring is sucks.... always blown fuse ..sometimes horn , sometimes head lamp sometimes aircond...
its not original wiring system, can see by pass here and there .... i think previous owner has altered it...

aha, in all my cars I never rewired any wiring! plp here are too smart, especially now cars with ecu never never cut a wires.
For mine was all ori, never have all this problems. same goes to you beloved Rexton with ECU. All my cars are mods only external and think it is deem fit for safety reasons not for beautification!!!

Just to share with you on some news on diesel. Currently as I understand it our diesel quality is outdated compared to other European countries.
Well here is the good news. Shell refinery in PD is currently upgrading its plant in PD called Shell Hijau Project and according to my boss who also owns a 4x4, once this upgrade is completed there will be a new diesel quality out in Malaysia as inform by Shell personnel themselves.
Bad news is that best guess the plant will be up and running probably by mid next year as the fired heaters that we are supplying to them is due to be delivered by Nov this year.

Good to hear that, what is advantage of the new quality diesel? Euro IV?

need info from rexton owners.
im from sarawak and going to buy a used Rexton ( http://www.mudah.my/...on-10237352.htm )
what model was it? as inform from my lil bro in Kuching (im not in kuching, elsewhere) , the rexton doesnt come with sunroof and the transmission just have P, R, N, D only without 2, 3, L etc (actually i dont understand), coming back to the sunroof thing, what i see every rexton sell in mudah.my or else come with sunroof, so what model if without model, and the other main difference?
is it worth to buy the model? (of coz price in Sarawak bit higher)..

hi bro,
it is a RX270 , could be a standard spec or basic spec.luxury and full spec has leather seat. standard and basic don't have leather seat.
but if basic spec - won't have rear aircond in the last row..not sure about the sun roof.
the gear is a tiptronic , in D can upshift by pushing the stick to the right and downshift by pushing to the left.
if it has the last/3rd row aircond, then (for me) it is worth to buy. sunroof is not important, some of our members including me almost want to "tampal" the roof already..he he he he..if broken will set us back 5k to 6k!!!
