It is really saddening to see such yet another beautiful SUV suffering from poor local dealership.

Can you buy thru some other owners from oversea? I am sure they have Captiva Club as well, perhaps buy thru them. You probably got to pay from your pocket but it could be better than getting stuck in the hole not going anywhere.

Yes, I can but the warranty issue!!!!
It a new car under warranty - 5 yrs or 175K kms - so how?
unless we are willing to sacrified the warranty - maybe they are pulling our legs this way by pushing us to void the warranty.
For your info - there are many defective parts that need to be claimed - steering rack, rocking seat, egr valve, turbo charger, wheel speed sensors, air bag sensor, brake rotor, absorber, horn, and etc.... They are very frequent need to be claimed and I think they have some defective parts problems for these said parts. And they are not cheap!!! A turbo cost about RM6K, steering rack - RM2.5K, wheel speed sencor (1 wheel per pc) - 1 pc - RM210.00 and etc.... , absorbers - about RM2-3K - rear

Why should I still buy from Naza - if I knew Naza will take over the Captiva - I wuill never buy this car! They have bad repu already - Have intend to buy a peugeout 308T, but have to settled for a Golf instead.

Ya! really have spoilt the GM name, which is really not so good already and now it is worst! I think that the end of the road for both of them in malaysia market.

I would have trade in the Captiva and get a Rexton, much more spacious, comfy and as powerful without the worry of spare parts problem. I see many ads still selling Captiva around RM100k, can easily get a 2007/2008 Rexton II and keep the spare cash for maintenance.

Just dont like the Rexton's look, shape and design. and 2007/2008 car buy 2nd hand without knowing the actual car condition, I dare not as I do alots of travelling at high speed, still prefer new car and for now Still like the captiva more.
Now the GM mat saleh and his assistance have came to know and - I have got my parts already. But next times, will shout and f$%^ them if they still dont have stock till I have them. After warranty - them I am not so worried, can buy out source.

No worry.. one man meat is another man poison. Wish your situation with no spare parts will be fully resolved soon. If not, the nightware will just continue and shouting at online forum won't help much but just to spread the negativity around to push the resale value down.
