Hi,

Is there any diff between Bendix Metal King Plus and Gold ?
I can't find those Gold model from Bendix web site.

Where can we find Bendix Ultimate?

Did anyone of you tested AFI or StopTech (Axxis) ?

Hi,
Maybe I am a bit late in my feedback. Anyways, I have been using EBC for
at least 2 years + if not more, cant remember, maybe even 3.
Feedback based on my experience;
a) Quality of the Greenstuff has dropped. It is not consistent. The
initial Greens I used were good. Excellent infact when it comes to brake
feel,etc. No signs of fade.
My third set started having a burnt look/rusty kinda look after about a 1-
2months of using, less than 4-5000km, it even started warping my brakes.
I thought maybe it was just me being unlucky and tried another one which
was fine, then yet again it started giving me problems.
b) Since the get go, I have been using greenstuff on my front, and black
at the rear. But now since I have given up on greenstuff, and the cost
simply does not excuse the inconsistency in the production line, I am
using black front and rear. Its not as good as Green, actually not even
close in pedal feel, but its still better than the stock ones.
In summary, green has awesome performance, with hardly any signs of fade
down gentings, but the inconsistency is a worry. Also if you want to
claim back and say you have a problem with it, it takes ages for them to
get back to you. Due to my lack of time I just thought F*C* it and I got
myself the black.
Cheers,
Gan

Not many auto spare parts shops in Klang Valley sells Trestor or Don
Advantage brake pads.

There is a shop in Sea Park, Petaling Jaya. It's facing a Shell station.
The name of the shop is PH Auto Enterprise.

Since it was also time to change my rear brake pads, I decided to get
Trestor/Don Advantage brake pads for the rear.

The price for the front pair of Trestor/Don Advantage brake pads cost me
RM68 while the rear cost me RM65 which brings the total to RM133

PH Auto Enterprise
No.7, Jalan 21/17,
Sea Park,
46300 Petaling Jaya,
Selangor.

Just bought a set of Bendix CT for RM63, Performance enough for normal drive, more spongy compared with previous RM30-40 pads.
Will test after changing new tyres. smile_tongue.gif

Spongy?
Its suppose to provide a little better bite than OE pads.
Probably its still has yet to run in.
