Talking about brake pads... I have used 3 sets of EBC Green Stuffs before
and 2 sets of Don Advantage. Currently I am on Don Advantage with the new
name. Yes, Trestor or something like that...

Review? EBC offers ultimate bite to stop the car. However, it doesn't
last long. My EBC averagely lasted about 2 months.

As for Don, the bite is okay. Good enough to stop my slow car. It last
longer. My previous EBC lasted about 4 months. And at half the price of
EBC, who cares about the dust? Smile

I can only compare between this two. If you want the best and if you can
afford it, go for EBC. But it ain't worth it... Wink

I am using sumitomo mitsubitshi pads for vr4 twin ports. So far so good.
Can handle 200+ hp with ease. It came with the twin ports that I bought
(still had 80% left).

I just changed my stock brake pads to EBC green stuff last monday, and
from my observation I find there is brake fade at high speed braking and
the bite is not as good as my stock brakes. I have run in my EBC's and
this happened after 400km of driving on the new brake pads.

Has anyone experienced a similar experience?

Probably need to run in the pads before reaching full potential. I also
heard some continental car users complain that EBC not that good, maybe
they using european stuffs.

I am driving a Satria GTi, since the pads are pretty new hardly 600kms
done as of today i guess i need to run in the pads well before getting
the full potentials of it. There is a good bite on the slow and medium
speed but at 160 kph or above it tends to be spongy and the bite seems to
fade away as i am nearing to a full stop.

Guys..

My observation after 1 week using BENDIX Metal King Plus (f) and Gold
®.

1.Braking definetely better than stock standard pads.
2.Low noise...infact noiseless
3.The noise I used to have with my old pad(pads screeching with disc)
disapeared. The old pad has 75% left.
4.Maybe bendix pads "makan" the disc...all my 4 disc looks cleaner

However...the front disc emits dust like hell! Very dusty compared to
stock Proton pads. My front rims turn to graphite within days of
cleaning. But only the front rims. The rear shows no difference. Maybe
due to the braking force infront is higher than the rear.

Any difference between Bendix Metal King PLUS and GOLD????
