I guess u are not going fast enough smile_big.gif

With the Pajero i will practice at low speed like 60km/h only for very sharp bend.
Mind u this speed is considered fast for a tall 4x4 at a sharp corner. We're talking about an "L" corner here.
With the Neo i can took the same bend at 100km/h top.Can go faster but i'm not skillful enough.

Be careful, increase your speed gradually.

Tyres oso plays a part in the handling.some give tiny squeal b4 breaking traction.
Some scream loudly but still gripping and no sliding.
Some just quietly loses traction.

I'm not a good teacher so please correct me if i got something wrong here.

When performing heel n toe, your left foot is doing as usual meaning depressing the clutch pedal.
However, your right foot will brake and blip@press the throttle at the same time.
U will brake using your toe n blip the throttle using your heel.

Why heel n toe?
It makes downshifting easier and smoother as when u rev the engine when downshifting, there is no sudden weight transfer to the front which will cause understeer. We are talking about downshifting at high speed here, if low speed then there is no problem. Its about maintaining the ballance of your car.
Another advantage is when u rev the engine, u can keep the rev at the powerband an this helps u to accelerate out of the corner quickly.

For example,
I accelerate from 1st to 3rd gear and upon reaching a corner,
1.I brake with my toe and at the same time rev the engine with my heel up to 4k-5k rpm.
2.Silmutaneously, i shift down to 2nd and release the clutch just b4 i reach the apex.Remember, things will happen so fast.
3.I maintain the rev and upon reaching the exit of the corner i fully depress the throttle.

Bro, not easy to do it right. I only can do when I wear one of my shoes and at at specific corner. Other shoe i cannot get it right all the time, not to mention different location.
Ram me if you can!

I think i did mention b4 that its easier for me to heel-n-toe when i'm wearing my steel toe safety boot.
It took few minutes to get use to the feel or rather lack of feel bcoz of the steel plated sole and thick sole.
Once i get use to the feel, its easier for me to rev the engine while braking.

Its even easier than wearing my camel active shoe.Mind u the camel active design is just like a racing shoe with a bit thicker sole.
