I monitor sometimes they not change new washer all the time.. I had a chat with mech here,he said not everytime they will change that washer unless being told to do so.. they will see if the washer still good they will use it again... I dont know if this apply on all sc.. But here they do like that...

Its either that or they (in this case, Volcare) use the suction machine to extract the old engine oil.

This way there is no need to change the drain plug.

correct, they didnt change it last time, but this time i make sure they change it..which comes with a rubber ring and when they took out the old drain plug.. there is additional metal washer there lol..

Morning guy,

Done My 30K service at Volcare yesterday. The workshop set is simple with just small building . But i trully like their service. Call them in the morning and they advise to come after 2pm. Reach there abt 2.15 pm and they already waited for me. When i enter the office the greated me by name . After registration the work star abt 2.30pm . 2 person attended to my Lion. Oil , filter change , other inspection and engine diagnose completed within 30 min. Then the senior SA took me in the car for test drive. He said the gear changes at high Rpm. The gear box was reset and it was a smooth drive there after.
All in it cost me RM212.00 which is very reasonable. They use Total semi syn 7000.
The staff are friendly inclusive of the owner who chit chat with me for abt 15 min.

I totally satisfied and i would recommend this workshop if you dont mind as their set up is not like BB. What i can say their mechanic is approachable and willingly listen to what you want to say. They advise accordingly and you are free to watch at the work done. They are also doing my warranty claim on my meter as the temp indicator is faulty for not giving the correct reading. diagnose show temp is 90 but meter show 60 . I am one happy customer yesterday. smile.gif

I've been to volcare once before to rectify water leaking into my rear floorboard. They check and solved the problem from me FOC. I'd recomend them anytime. It feels like home when you're at their serivce center.... I too was a happy customer that day smile_shy.gif

This is good to hear, I might try it on my next service. Seems like they diagnose your car properly with care and put their heart on the job. Sincerely speaking, if this is the way the work is done, it's great service and commitments, paying the labour also feel it's worth it.

Actually, most SC mechanic can say is helpful, willing to listen to the problems your have and give advices, information, etc. For BB, it's just that we're not allowed to enter the Service Area. I used to walk out sometimes and talked to the mechanic and ask them somethings, etc. But I guess due to it being a 3S or "Profesional" service centre, their policy wouldn't allow plus they have concerns on "what if" something happens of the customer?

Anyway, great to hear we have another good SC. I faced mixed reaction from Geot Auto from my last visit, there's some part feels good, but also some part feels really awful and very regretful. I don't know what to say.

just received a call from their supervisor regarding the meter......... after he send the report to BB Glenmarie they received instruction from Nasim (i guess) to thoroughly check my car... and submit the waranty claim if necessary..

that show this workshop really do their job well...... i dont mind going there again as i know what is the fault and what can be done abt it ..... at least dont have to wait for months like the tyre claim before

The checking will be done at BB Glenmarie or Volcare? As I know, previously all must go back to Glenmarie to check again. Then comes the epic story which can span multiple series...

RM212 sound very very reasonable for all the parts, diagnose and jobs done. This is an authorised SC.
The best thing, they actually treat you nicely. Hard to get that nowadays. Priceless....

When KS was small and located in deep, remote location, almost at the end of Jalan Empat (off Jln Chan Sow Lin), they were something like this also. That's why i frequent them. Beside C&C is always 'busy'. Now they are much much bigger and several new implemented rules are disappointing. But rules are rules. Luckily, some of the old hands there are still approachable. And good that they expand their operations hours. Win win solution.
