Oic. Thx, just wanted to weigh my options of jumping for the existing model or wait. The dash of the 2011 model is vastly improved over the current one.

Welcome bro, that is for sure lol, but i will said current focus inside look solid smile_approve.gif

True also. In all honesty the current model has more of the original Focus DNA than the 2011 model. That said, losing value on a Ford is one thing, losing even more due to the imminent launch of a completely new model is another lol. You can say that if I can't afford the loss of value, I shd look elsewhere. Quite sad, really. The heart says go, the wallet says no haha...

well bro, is all depend also, by the time New FOCUS come, i already enjoy my ford more then 2 years lol, and i can said, if u affraid of value loss, then is very hard to get the car u like, the best value for money car still go to VIVA 660, just RM26K, so the most u loss just RM26K, but for others, i will said, still lost! how much it will lost, it also depend on the demand of the car, even u buy ford now, don't mean u will lost much, since TDCI is rare in the market and second thing this car can consider performance car, so for the car value.... no comment, as still very new the most just 7months of ownership, but bro, do u sell of ur car just after using for 2-3years? Nowaday saw many conti car on the road compare 2 years back, why? test drive one u will know the answer smile_approve.gif smile_approve.gif

I'm driving a Civic 1.8 now. Reason I bought it back then was to minimize resale value losses haha. It's not that I'm afraid of losing value due to Ford being a "cold" brand, it's about losing value very soon once a replacement model comes out. It will happen to any make regardless. Get my meaning?

Btw, a Viva owner will prolly lose 10k over 3 yrs of ownership smile.gif Even after 10yrs he can prolly sell the car for 8-10k so how can anyone be losing the entire value of the car? LOL...
