i can vouch for the ranger... mine are 01 with 215,000 on the odometer, haven't overhaul either and still running smooth. i heard two other ranger close on my year clocking 600,000 and 400,000 - didn't overhaul it yet either. Superb steel from Ford!

I'm in the process of getting one too he he he, now just need to sell of my trusty Chevy Optra. I've also found a diesel tuning kit which could push the HP up to 170 and torque close to 400. Cost GBP299, have to settle everything first, definaltely will get that when I get bored of 136hp he he he...
The following are my current and my future rides:
2012: VW Sicrocco 2.0T (its a moving target...)
2010: Proton Saga SE 1.3
2009: Suzuki Swift 1.5
2005: Chevrolet Optra 1.8Lt

neither, try tuningbox or DTK. I prefer DTK though since it comes with a remote which will turn off the setting on the fly without the need to take out the chip or dismantle the box.

Wow...I've checked out DTK. Their website provides useful information, even videos on installation. But the figures on Ford focus tdci 136hp is a bit different, it says original torque is 240 and torque with tuning is 300...are these NM or lb/ft? Anyway, thanks for the info.
