yeap the workshop does citroens and peugeots as well as other conticars.. the matter is solved, its a bearing in the alternator as i heard.. cost RM105. but damn it I lost on the fan belt tensioner.. RM380!
Haiya...what a waste...last time my alternator bearing gave way, i took out the alternator myself, brought it to a wireman. He changed the bearing for RM30. Brought it back and fixed it. Well, if u rajin DIY then can save a bit of money la...but being charged 105 for it is reasonable. I'm sure they serviced ur alternator too rite?

haha yeap.. i guess so, in the process the steering oil container now has rubber casing, i think he put it for me .. no idea for wat reason.

well, i changed these on Dec 09. Cost me a bomb!
Roller Tensioner 206 - RM206.60
Tensioner Roller 206 - RM692.55
WH auto in kuchai enterprenur park quoted the following
Idle roller bearing RM140.00
Tensioner bearing RM480.00
They do service for pug as well as selling parts. They even have the diagnose equipment except they are not authorise SC. Look for Zul , ex-nasim (BB). contact no 012-278 7802.

My car also has the "inngggg" sound after 20k service. When I took it to NZ Wheels in Klang last week, they said, it is not under warranty anymore as my car has exceed 1 year and 20k mileage. I was very pissed off. Nway, do you guys know where should I refer to regarding 206 warranty?? I dont want to pay for the faulty parts as this car is only 1 year old. Previously, during promotions they said the 206 Bestari has 3 years warranty, but now, all I know is, every parts that is faulty I have to pay with my own money. Tipu ke apa diaorang ni..

i got mine claimed with my 40k mileage and 1 year 8 months ride. You surely can replace that unless you got your car service outside. I got mine claimed at BB Glenmarie but need to pay RM5.00 Misc Charges for nothing.

Ohh....really?!! Then I can claim la. I always serviced my car either at BB Glenmarie or NZ Wheels. Anyway, I will send my car to Glenmarie for replacement as the service advisor at NZ Wheels said I cant claim warranty for the bearings. Hopefully BB wont charge me for the parts. Thanks Snoopy!!!!

milage below 40K should be able to make warranty claim. go to glenmarie....
and next time forget about NZ klang. yes they have pretty receptionist but they arew not fully equip for PUG... the last time time i went there they dont even have the diagnose computer... but now dont know lah
