The warranty for these 2 parts is 60K kms..so i'd advice you to go and ask them to get it changed asap. Bising and make sure u get it under warranty. Tell them the noise stated way before 60K kms.

thanks bro..will go glenmarie asap!

Wahai kawan kawan aku,

The fan belt tensioner that they sell for RM640 at sc or RM450 outside or RM320 (non-original), comes together with the bracket. IT IS POSSIBLE to change the bearing only, without having to change the bracket. The bearing is fixed to the bracket using a size 13bolt. This bearing can be bought for RM140(SKF), from here :-

Syarikat South Auto (KL) Sdn Bhd
No. 650 -652, 4th Mile, Jalan Ipoh.

The shop is on the left hand side of the road( from kl headings towards jln ipoh), after batu kentomen. They are official distributor for SKF bearing. They carry alot of other types of bearings too, all for automotive use. They have it for all types of cars. 308, 407, cits, renaults, audi, semua pun ada.

The price for the fan belt roller bearing is also the same. Thank goodness we've finally found a cheaper alternative which should last as long as if not better than the bearings we get from peugeot.

Wow datz good to hear.. however, if i knew this earlier, whould not have paid the full price at service center... and felt abit cheated especially when i recall that the service consultant at KhengSoon told me they cant change the bearings only, but gota replace the whole thing..

maybe someone can start a thread on where to source for 206 parts alternatively would benefits all the 206 community..?

Wah i changed the bearing without even a warranty claim! Did it at Kemaman, car was too damn noisy with the zingggg sound. I asked the mechanic do i have to claim for warranty or sign something for documentation n he said, ini common issue kite stock up dah dgn tensioner bearing jus tukar je.....n i was impressed!!! I wen there to do my 40k service and the mech said i need to change spark plug but they din have enough so they said they wouldnt charge labour for the work....seriously kemaman is awesome service....

Volcare IMO is pretty good too, my fog light bulb burst n they replaced for free n this is my usual spot for servicing my car...hate glenmarie though
