Not suret about the tow trunk driver pouring oil on this curve road for more accident for their business...as i used this kerinchi link almost every days and nights and always like to enter the "S" bend cornering with fast speed and need some basic skill of drift to counter attached this curve., so far touch wood nothing happen... but until i saw an Evo high speed spinning and hit the concrete divider there before.. so now my ball also getting smaller to drive fast there...
and to SplitFire.....what your curse did happen as there is a dead case happen with the tow trunk driver son died on when jalan Istana flyover curve down to seremban highway as his car was spinning hit the divider...
The worst karma is to be alive and witness [or suffer] all one's beloved family members dying a horrible death one by one before one goes along.
Serve those unscrupulous bastards right

Today's STAR newspaper reported that the Kerinchi Link management got very annoyed by users reporting to the media and via e-mail, pertaining to the "accident-prone black spot" at the Kerinchi Link
Bad design means bad design...admit it lah and do rectification. I have always believe that many "authorities" and big corporations DO NOT have departments to take care of "complaints" and "feedbacks" , how do we report to them and even reporting to them gets NO answer or NO as an answer, so we resort to our more convenient and effective method > e-mail and forums and blogs + SMS.
Our SMS had been very effective to have brought down a few state governments

sprint has resurfaced that S bend spot both ways... maybe true some 'barua' put oil there before? I use the link everyday and always resort to lower gear when passing the bend with normal speed, avoiding sudden braking as much as I can.

I don't think it is bad design - they are constrained by the amount of space they have for building the link flyovers. Besides, the design is good for the 50 km/h speed limit. However, everyone ignores that crucial fact and blame the road when they crash. So if you travel at a higher than design speed, you can only blame yourself if you crash. As I have said many times before, speed limits are there for a reason. Ignore them at your own peril. Good drivers always drive up to the limit of their vehicles and road conditions.

that bend aaaa...especially from kerinchi toward damansara...musttttt slow down....60 km/h also consider dangerous ...
but...if you are from damansara...60 km.h still consider ok....
