Highly skilled and experienced self employed mechanics end up only able to service lower grade cars due to lack of tools. New/ trainee mechanics might end up servicing high end cars.

Which one do you want? Skill? or Tools?

YSW...Well said!

I like mentioned, if your ride is an Audi or Passat or Mazda CX-7, it will be a right choice to go back to authorise service centre bcos you are paying for warranty sake. I think it is not much to pay since your ride is so highly price.

Of course, many machenic is still familiar with those older Japanese model such as Altis & Camry. BUT, when you ask them to repair a 5 speeder AT such as Honda CT or a CVT Sylphy; they can give you a "blank look". Some even not aware of which AT fluid to use...

Strong Ken smile_question.gif
my advice, stick to popular and trusted brands....
i got mine from PH Auto also, the 2yrs type

Too bad, i have installed it, leave time to tell smile_blackeye.gif . Even my mechanic also told me to change back to ori. mmc next time. The boss told me that the belt made by manufacturer of Dayco belt and I saw the belt has wording of "Italy". Hope it can last me two year and the co. not close down during the period of warranty smile_big.gif .

ok reviving old thread...recently stumbled upon this brand again... while looking/surveying my scooby timingbelt...

the prive is unbelievable..yet came complete with the belt tensioner, all idler bearings (lots of it in scooby) and also 5pcs oil seal....

meanwhile the waterpump need to source from others...

compared to oem: rm2.5k all in...

gates: rm1.5k (buy oil seal separately)

gaido: less than gates even with added cost of waterpump...

saw the company site is malaysian company...also saw got many other car brandkit including hyundai kia...

probably worth t give it a try.....with warranty...

to think it back...if use their kit oil seal..if leaks, that was their fault too...so anyways still their part to blame... tongue.gif
