I've saw posting mentioned using pro machine like Makita for cutting. VR2 taikor, what is cutting? Izit using the buffing pad's edges to do the job instead of like using ROB that the buffing pad need to be flat onto the polishing surface? Yet another newbie question. smile_blush.gif

A simple metaphor, whether using RB or ROB to 'cut' with a compound, is like using sand paper. You're *sanding down* the clear coat while *spinning* the sand paper *flat* on the surface. Tilting or buffing at an angle *could* make it 'cut' deeper and faster but, without the necessary skills, chances are, you're also going to get wavy or uneven cut, just like sanding with the tip of your finger as oppose to with a flat sanding pad.

Regards.
