French Cars such as Peugeots and Citroens are affordable comfortable cars
to drive....the seats and suspensions are legendary! ... "miles feel like
kilometers"
cheers

new cars, esp. mid-range [1.8~2.4 liter] are mostly comfortable within
first 1000days...soon the 'unfomfortability' is when maintenance bills
come..he..hee...heee!!!

i agree with daf..
and for me mantainance price is subjective depend on person, currently i'm
using xantia and very comfortable and feel floating when crusing more
than 80km/h.
about maintainance this car...not expensivelah because i don't need to
pay any installment every month he he he..compare i using wira before,
the maintainance is higher coz need to pay installment 500 per month plus
any repair or service + kena con with mechanic..if i dont pay it my wira
will going to the bank ha haa haa..
conclusion here maintainance car is very subjective depend on
1.car price
2.car technology
3.monthly payment
4.people income
5.con or not conn mechannic
6.potong spare part availablity
7.yearly insurance
8.engine capacity (600cc or 3000cc)

hi again,
from all the postings, i can see that there are many camps. some believe
that toyota camry is the most comfortable, some mercedes S class, some said
french cars, some volvos, even some protons also involves.
even some quoted: citroen maintenance mahal, hehehhee. hmmm, that was
subjective also. considering, citroen xm won the most comfortable car on
the planet, not mercedes, bmw or toyota. also the 2nd best handling car was
peugeot 106 GTi(1st is a ferrari) by top gear.
bang for buck, it is the french car that made most of the top list for
comfort or handling .pls dont refer to our motoring circles here. the
french philosophy is very clear, cheap car but not necessarily poor on
handling, safety and comfort. very simple. plus it can be repaired
anywhere. pls be reminded that they are being used widely in africa and
middle east. so simplicity is important.
so far i have owned two french cars, side by side and there are no issues
about reliability. only the unbelievers will think otherwise. this is the
greatest bang for buck for a car.i agree with human and daf, owning a
french car is different, very different.it may not having a brand prestige
like jaguar or aston martin, but then,so far there are no record on a
french car being stolen(pls refer to insurance companies). only the people
who drive them knew it. to others, just play with your toy car. maybe your
time with frenchies haven't come yet.
only some people will say that they are unreliable or high maintenance
because they have never own any of them before. once you have driven french
cars, you won't be turning back.i guarantee that. forget everything else.
