I think you got the wrong message... smile_big.gif
XM1 is Michelin's entry level tyres and is the cheapest of their range, but compare this tyre to another brand of the same size and you will find it is expensive..... smile_shock.gif
Michelin Roadshow? The only Michelin I admire is the PS2 and it is priced out of my range.... smile_sad.gif

Michelin Man? Michelin Gals better, but in Malaysia I don't think so...

Was surprise Bangkok Motor show got Dunlop, Hankook, & Nitto only.
Goodyear only got small corner, got 2 F1 Asy and 4 Run Flats on show only.
No Michelin either... smile_shock.gif

I went to their roadshow and got a RM30 voucher towards purchase of new Michelin tyre.
I'm using Michelin PP2 now, plan to downgrade to Michelin Premacy. My tyre is 205/50/16. I read the price list in the roadshow and it appear that Premacy is about RM20 cheaper than PP2. I then surveyed the price and here is the result:

Michelin Premacy 205/50/16:
Bok Tyre Bayan Lepas Penang $440
Klang $395
Puchong, USJ, $400
Ban Hooi, Klang $380

The selling point for Premacy LC is quiet and fuel saving. Besides, more sizes are available. Previously with my tyre size I can only get PP2. Now I have Premacy to choose from. However, similar tyre size from Falken will only cost me $265. Compared to $380 for Premacy LC, I am still thinking which one to pick.
