The car is OK lah.
i dont hav exact calculation on the fc but from the instrument panel, full tank can reach about 400km or less.
If u are careful, its hard for the fuel gauge to drop.
If u tend to rev it beyond the CPS opening rev, then u can see the fuel gauge dropping very2 quickly.
Too quickly indeed.
Performance is just adequate.
Once u get used to the power, u will want more power to match the handling and looks.
The chassis is super solid.
The acceleration is great but not fabulous.
Throttle response is best.
There is not much comfort in this car.
Everything is firm.
I guess thats the sacrifice for having a great handling car.
Now,the defect....
There is still this 'krek2' sound when accellerating on 1st and 2nd gear at between 2k rpm to 3k rpm.
Another sound is this 'tuk2' sound. If the ac is on, in only happen when the compressor kicks in.However u need to switch off the radio and listen carefully to hear it.
If the ac is off the sound will appear when i was releasing the clutch slowly.
I hav complain on both problem on the 1st service but its still there.

I guaranteed that the noise still there on your 3rd service, if you just complaint only.
Gunnerzz bro, guess you got to show them your gun then bang table. Then only the problem can rectify.

When the car is sent for the service, close friend whom work at the sc is taking a leave.
If i bang2 then i'm afraid they might harm my BLM on my next service bcoz if they do it to the Neo it wll be obvious right.
Anyway my sis has tok the car to Kluang with her.
Fc at highway is worst.
She drove 110-120 km/h on the way to kluang and the rev is high at around 4k rpm.
Reaching Pagoh R&R, 1/4 tank is gone.
If she drove a bit faster and get to the high cam 1/2 tank is gone for sure.
Driving the Waja 1.8, the fuel gauge doesn't even move when reach Pagoh R&R.The Waja manage to clock 16km/l despite being driven at 140 on the way home.
I guess the Neo's gear Ratio is not highway friendly.

Hi Guys,
Here's my impression of Satria Neo CPS.
Itâs been two weeks my auntie and I scouting around for good deal and quick delivery of base-line Satria Neo (A). Been to two branches and not quite satisfied, so we went to their platinum showroom in Mutiara Damansara last saturday to see if quicker delivery is possible.
Upon reaching the showroom, spotted a test unit of Satria Neo CPS and happily the sales advisor is more than willing to allow me to have a crack on it. Only the test car is an auto.
Heard some whisperings from some folks of Protons, Satria Neo CPS is the âsuccessorâ to my personal favourite Satria GTi. Well, theyâve been late, thatâs for sure because me and my buddies have been tired of waiting!
Visually, you can see Satria Neo CPS is reincarnation of Satria GTi with flared wheel arches and sportier front/rear bumper. The rear spoiler, narrower front track and wheel design is up to individual taste. I donât like it. Iâd prefer slightly wider track than standard Neo front and rear so that wheels wouldnât sunk in too much especially the fronts, Oz Crono Evo would do far better job than âinspiredâ Advanti Medusa, and the rear spoiler is too âBengâ. Exhaust muffler integrated bumper would be nice as well.
Going inside, they didnât put in Recaro Njoy, instead, the same designed seats carried over from standard but wrapped it in leather and apply two-tone colour. Same dashboard design with darker themed.
How does it drive? Crank it up and engine sounds the same as normal Neo. We took the same test route as the Exora. I sense the throttle is slightly less snappy than Exora equipped CPS. As torquey as they may be, the top end punch is not much difference as normal Campro. Not here and not there delivery. I just hope the manual version can do justice to the car. But it canât hide engine harsh character, heck it would be making it more obvious.
I couldnât test much on the ride & handling aspects because sales advisor been saying âTolong! Saya tak mau mati!â the moment I started the left-right-left sequence going uphill towards Penchala Link. That surely put off to my intention but initial finding shows slightly meatier steering feel but just too safe. And Conti ContactSport-1 didnât help either. Good for first time performance car users. You wonât want them to panic when the tail slide going too hot gunning the corners.
Ride is very very comfortable for a hot hatch, no even better than standard Neo. The Proton engineers really nailed this aspect very good.
In this short brief moment, Iâd say thank you for not putting GTi badge on it because itâs NOT in the first place. Think of it as premium Satria Neo who happens to have punchier power and sportier package. Iâm sorry because I canât praise it any higher.
Back to my auntie, she agrees with my advice and put down the booking for standard Satria Neo and it seems it can be delivered within 2-3 weeks and the fact their approach and promises to this moment looks good in our books.

Seem NEO CPS have very good feedback from the owner....
wonder why there is not pearl white instead of Solid White?
by the way....
I really get shock the "Satria NEO" sales is better than "GEN2 CPS"
and GEN2 CPS is cheaper than Satria NEO CPS

Most people does not even know what Lotus is and what CPS is.
They just go for Neo bcoz to them its 'sporty'.
Neo CPS is more expansive bcos the chassis is different from normal NEO.
