u sure the myvito better than your wira 1.6?
even wira 1.5 is good at 140-150kmh.
maybe u need to replace some worn out item on your car like some bush, maybe even the absorber.

hav u experienced myvito at speed b4?

Exactly, I used to drive a Wira 1.6 myself. There's no way that a well-maintained 1.6 can't at least keep up with a Myvi la.

Wira 1.6 has one of the best power-to-weight ratios in its segment. It can still outrun a few cars on the road today.

haha... i think my wira 1.6 is not well maintained... cz it's my dad punya... last time gear box prob(jump gear from D to N) so he go buy waja... then oni he go change a new gearbox for da wira... after changing tat for few months... da car start to jerk while completely stop in D gear... but then my dad gt new waja edi... so he dun really mind lo... he oni use da wira for weekends.... few months ago oni i take over and drive da wira...lolz... i think many thing rosak la my car... tat day driving 60km/h oso suddenly die off... pergi proton fc scan... they said no spare parts edi and not sure wat's da prob...and they said my car is "rotting" edi...haha... so terpaksa go for 2nd hand spare parts lo...haha...

I used to own a mid 90s 1.6 Wira auto and that time car still quite new but i find the pick up slow and once rev hard to pick up speed easily red line but car aint going faster.. then high-end speed also slow.. guess the autobox doesnt suit that car or just inefficient.. that time car ran 30k km... well later sold off..

as for myvi if manual vs yur old auto then likely to lose in pick up lar..

That's not quite true. The Wira 1.5 & 1.6 are technically very different cars. When purchasing parts, you'd be hard pressed to find common components for both cars. Between 1.5 & 1.6, especially auto to auto, my choice is definitely 1.6.
