LPT, it's re-chipped. Specs from maker says 200 HP using standard set-up
but with 0.8 bars, I didn't dyno so I take his word for it. Back tires
(new 16" Michelins) breaks free when I throw the weight off during small
corners and when the boost somes. It'll drift too but suspension is on
the very soft side, so must do some fighting when the car regains
composure . Still waiting for a forumer in VOCM to feedback on the
LSD though

RWD Volvos were big on torque rather than HP.. especially those torque from
a very low RPM.
The B20/21/23 engines were derieved from a truck engine.
As for the comparison between the 2, I rather drive an 850 T5, but as for
maintaining them and owning them.. the 940s are much more durable cars
which should be capable of being driven nearly 400k km before needing a new
motor.

The R is genuine one. There're about 10~12 units imported in by FA. All
red if I'm not mistaken but it's a mix of auto and manual trans. The
owners were all given a free trip to Sweden to familiarise themselves with
the make. On arrival back home, the cars were lined up at the airport for
the owners to drive home.
Apart from these units, there are several grey imported units with olive
green, white colour. No yellow though.
