Cross Drill Brake Rotors

confidence when braking. Somehow, on the T5, the brakes like tak makan &
not so confidence inspiring! I was wondering whether it's the difference
in weight between the GLT & T5.

i think its the "IPD" chip, n not da brakes, heheheehe.
but i do agree standard T5 brakes is not sufficient.
take care there

It`s could be a feeling only because the wagon`s brakes are design to be
anti-dive by putting more grip on the rear compared to the sedan. Don`t
forget that the wagon is used to carry loads and you don`t want those
things to hit the driver or passengers during Emergency braking. With the
brake power shifted to the rear, maybe we don`t get the oomph in braking ?
Will call you regarding the cross-drill & slotted (2-in-1) disc all round
soon as I have some positive feedbacks.

front only. Pads not mentioned. Also the Black Diamond brand shows a
rather dark disc and I think it'll not be pretty on the car. I'm already
looking into DBA (Australia) which has this 'Kangaroo Paw' technology and
I like the looks (Cross-drill & slotted) but the cost about Rm2400 all
round. Now still considering getting a set of normal disc and let someone
drill them. Very much cheaper.
Suhairi, how much does T-Lim charge ?

F1 braking...so there's no need to spend for the REAR as its only
assist...unless u have the ringgit to spend BUT seriously the original
fitment is not enuff for the 850R or T5! oneday u might sodok a car at
fast lane ....the disc r black becoz its pre heat treated to very high
temp so that it wont warp anymore...hopefully n once u use it...the pads
will skimm n unveil the shining part of the disc...choice is yours bro!

Do you have stainless steel braided brake hose ? If yes, how are the
performance of it without the cross drill or slotted disc coming into the
I'm think of getting the hose first and then later the cross-drill +
slotted all round.

The cross drill will it help in the efficiency of braking????
I ‘m not convinced at all with the braking system in my 240. I have asked
the mechanic to check the brakes for leak or wear and tear. He claim it is
in good condition. Yet I don’t have the real good feel about it. Are the
240 behaving in such? It is not fitted with ABS then my worry is unable to
stop the brick on time. Assume speed at 150-160km/h on highway or the
brakes are not design for this speed.

My 25 year old 244 brick is still using the original brake discs both
front and rear. I have not changed the disc since day one and I find that
244 has one of the best braking prowess efficiency around amongst other
car makes that I've driven or tested.
