wja6227, believe it or not, i find it too troublesome n can be
hazardous..not to mention the turnaround time to "disarm" this thing is
rather too short to my liking...
i cant imagine i have to unlock dat thing when some1 following me n try to
jack my car...haha..

I see. Anyway,I used to hate this bloody things . But after almost
losing my car twice at the same place, I decided to make it a habit even
when back to home.
Now, feels different without it

Just pour water or drops of acid in the speaker hole and key pad, the alarm goes
kaput. If you look carefully, the casing of the keypad is plastic. poor design I would
say.

In my humble opinion, I think its better that we do not reveal which car
doesn`t have good alarm system or how to overcome the steering lock kind
of thing. After all, we do not know who is reading this forum.
My point is that those irresponsible thieves might be reading it too and
they get these kind of info FREE of CHARGE. This will only make them more
daring.
Just my opinion.....

To be honest, I know some of these guys as u mentioned and I don't think
they will interested to know coz all this knowledge are too general even
for a 1st timer. So, don't be worried on this issue being discuss and my
intention is for the hope of getting solution for those who are not aware
plus create awareness on their lousy alarm as some of them do not even
know that to steal a car is so bloody damn easy.
Anyway, I respect your worried and I being an almost victim twice is worry
most of the time too. So, maybe a good suggestion!
