azbro:
ya lor. luckily it's not hot ah. Hey, maybe that's the reason Hyundai put
such a lousy alarm.
Tohsan:
it's true and in fact I saw some experts done it (just to show me how)

wja6227,
thats why i quickly change my stock alarm to better after market alarm n
add in anti-hijack system, cannot depend on stock car alarm, definitely an
easy target for those thief. Will add-in Locktech as soon as possible once
they have the unit for Kenari, meanwhile I will add in the Smartshop
Autolock, and one of those steering lock those that come with siren n
motion sensor once they detect you inside the car, they are on sale in
Carrefour cost around i think RM250. LET THOSE BASSTARD KAKI CURI SUFFER!!!

Wja6227,
I just went to Carrefour the steering that i mention earlier the correct
price should be RM199. This is what i gather from the brochure:
T-REX steering lock with sensor alarm.
Alarm sounds when vehicle is tampered with eg breaking car window, opening
car door, entering car sending out 110db-130db alarm to scare off thieves
and alert owner and passer-by.
Using two 1.5 volt batteries. Can last 6-9 months under normal condition.
Constructed of sturdy, die cast tube steel and aluminium alloy.
The patented duo-ball vibration sensor is an all-direction sensor,
protecting all parameter of the vehicle.
Enhanced LED brightness optimizes visibility of lock in the dark, flashing
every 2-3 seconds, thus detering car intruders. The key-pad is also
available in "glow in dark" material, enabling user to see the key pad nd
providing extra visibility lock, thus enhancing deterrence.

The problem with such pain inducing security systems is that if you're
letting a loved one use your car or get something from it, they might fall
victim too.
