Alex,

Practice, practice n practice thats the key word here. You will get used to
it soon. The immo will not cut the fuel on the spot, the immo will give
sign like beep beep beep for about 15 second once u start your car, this is
to direct u to key in the code b4 the immo cut the fuel, there`s only two
button there, just press the code u key-in according the code u set.

In addition to what Tohsan sez, Blackjax is fairly fast installation,
about two hours would do it. On the other hand, for the Concept and AG5
series, be prepared to leave your car there for at least a day (and make
sure you book your installer in advance). I'd seen the spaghetti of wires
that they had to install and only a superman could complete it in under a
few hours. The AG5 was especially a nightmare to install. YOu should have
seen the wires. For the Concept series (had it fitted to a V6, a RAV4) it
took about 10 hours (non stop). For the AG5, about a day and a half coz of
wiring and programming (yup, the AG5 actually had to be programmedd by a
laptop.) But it is well worth the money spent.

Sifu FOO, u have mail.

I am not suprise to hear this AG5 takes 1.5 days to complete the whole thing.
The day i sent my car for Boomerang n Blackjax 4 installation already take
up 9 hours for full installation plus the programming part, but they are
not as troublesome as AG5, anyway like u said if the system is good, then
its worth for all those 9 hours waiting for my car. At least u know that ur
car is guarded by a reliable alarm system.

well, against my usual practise, let me tell ya'all, do not pay clifford
bj4 if its more than 1.1K..it doesnt worth dat much...

as for getting used to the keypad, u will, after some time. it can be
quite troublesome, at least for me...if ur car is shared among ur family
members, u mite wanna double consider..

fooyc, my cars all have some form of clifford (from the kenari to the v6),
like it or not, my family members have to learn how to use it. at least
one advatange your friends don't want to use your car, too leceh.

tohsan, 1.5 days satisfaction guaranteed. i'd been to a place where they
say ag5 can be installed in a day, and the poor fella who had installed
there had gone back three times to fix some minor problems. i guess better
to take a bit more time to get it done properly rather than quickly,
elsewise you'll keep going back. anyway, my friend sez ag5 got special
price, abt 4.6k.Big Smile

Hi All,

Ermm.. could roh or fooyc recommend me a place to install alarm in Klang
Valley (via email : jasontcl@gmail.com) Thanks in advance.
I am very keen to install the Clifford AG5.
And how does it compare to other alarm system at this range (Clifford AG5
range)?
Btw, the AG5 does has a wireless immo right? Can I still add the BlackJax
5 immo to it..?
Really phobia this days when driving out.

Thanks a lot.. :)

jasonnnn,

Sorry, I dont quite understand your post.

Do you have a specific budget and requirements? Not everyone needs AG5 in
their car, & to add to the big hole in our pocket, AG5 still do not
guarantee no-1 can tow the car away.
