Hi kvslott,
What do you mean by no change? No reduction for you old diesel engine? Or
no increase for your green diesel engine?

The Rm625 is given as bellow:-
1)Any vehicle(4 wheels) 2000cc and below.
2)Pick-up or Jeep 2500cc and below.
if other then the above, you will get RM200 discount on your road tax.
The budget 2009 say that road tax for petrol and diesel vehicle will be
the same but when i renewed my road tax it was still the same. Still
higher then petrol.

Just got my 2.5l Dmax in Sept.
Same here. Paid 900+ road tax, but managed to claim $625. Tot $625 meant
for fuel hike? Diesel road tax supposed to be reduced starting Sept to be
the same as petrol. Two seperate issues. Firstly diesel price has been
adjusted to be almost same as petrol so road tax should be similar.
Secondly $625 is the so called rebate or sweeter after astronomical fuel
hike probably to cover cost for our home make astronaut.
Flip-flop policies as usual by flip-flop ministers. No wonder foreign
investers all cabut, how to do business like tat. Overnight flip-flop
policies change?

Went to JPJ 2nd week of Sept to renew roadtax. Told by Counter Staff that
the circular had been issued and the new rate should be immediately
implemented however the system could not do it as it has yet to be
adjusted.
