I would go for the Lancer primarily because it's a CBU imported from
Japan. The local Altis, Sentra and City that you are also considering
would not have the Lancer's build quality, finishing and assembly
consistency.

The Lancer's only downside I reckon is the lack of engine refinement but
I suspect it handles better than the Altis. The City is in a different
class and perhaps should not be compared with the Lancer. That leaves us
with the Sentra and in this regard, both cars are very evenly matched in
terms of ability but in view of the Lancer's CBU status with the
attendant better build quality, the scales would in my view tip in favour
of the Lancer.

Just test-drove the lancer 2day and comfort is slight slightly lower than
altis 1.6. Inside, the cabin feels bigger than an altis but the engine
compartment seems a little bare. SA kept saying is new tech
engine...bullshit...but gearshift is very smooth thanks to the CVT trans.

how come some ppl say got discount? i did ask for discount but the SA did
not offer any. And trade in for my car onli RM35k (SEG 1.6A 1995) and SA
told me he will give that price if i sign the doc (earlier, he offered
RM30k). SIAO!!! paksa-paksa tak main.

If you're not a racer than go lancer. Next year they will bring in Rallyart
accessories from Australia. I'm eyeing to get it.
Else, 4-5 years down the road if u got tired of the 1.6 then swap 4G94 or
4G63 or colt mivec 1.5

Yes. Even KL SA gave 2k onli. I think SA plays important part. They can
make money but what's more important is gaining customers trust & craft
good reputation.
Bro, get yr priority 1st. Once stable then go buy lancer la. I'm moving
into new house next yr so dats y i'm getting the lancer. Mthly not that
tight la..
