rear look a bit too 'Waja' to me...
???..sorry,really unacceptable,..but i would agree the engine block is
the same as WAJA's engine block,..or should i say, Proton is using their
technology..
the rear of the lancer are more towards EVO7 look,..that if you may
notice,..the only thing missing is MIVEC on those 4G18 ,,sigh...

I've not driven the Altis before, so I can't comment on that car; but I
can say that the Lancer 1.6 at RM100+k is not worth it.
I have a Waja at home, and when I drive the Lancer, I hear the same rough
engine note.
The Altis is probably the better choice.

Gunner,
both Lancer and WAJA may have been using the same powerplant,..but of
diferent bred and quality.its like same mother,..once the twins are
adopted to a different family each,..both will surely have something in
common,...but will definitely have different way of brought up..:D
if just the Lancer is equipped with the latest MIVEC engine,..then,there
is a lot of differences already.
