yes, externally the supertouring does look like a bigger version of the
saga, however the interior is totally different.

If you look at the Lancer F dashboard (also used on the export version of
Iswara) it does have some resemblance especially the knob-buttons
flanking the speedometer cluster.

I bought my Super Touring brand new in June, 1985.
During that time, the competitors are Nissan Bluebird, Ford Telstar and
the Mazda 626.
I choose it because it comes with power steering, with the longest wheel
base and futuristic features which include wing control for the
lights/wipers, reclineable rear seat back (14 degree), tilting and
sliding rear head rests and individual tiltable rear seats.
Fuel consumption is exceptionally good for the engine capacity, about
14.5km/liter on highways.
I still remembered the selling price that time was RM29,600 on the road.

Yes manage to get all the parts except for the headlight ( left side)
Luckily I had a spare unit with me. Wooww 7 times changed the alternator?
i changed mine last year and so far its still working fine. Maybe yours
was not an alternator problem, probably wiring problem. Did you take it
to a mechanic who specializes in car wiring? Anyway how much did you sell
it for?

Anyone else own a mitsubishi supertouring? Lately spotted a few in Shah Alam and subang jaya and seems to be in rather good condition.
...One day would love to see the roads in Malaysia thronged with convertibles.
