Wah!! Both sides also patah oledi. Really kau kau teruk already.
FYI, during the time when the knob got broken, my brother actually did
some DIY temporary rectification in order to allow the rear bench still
can be locked and released for folding and unfolding purpose.
All he did was if you notice, there are 2 nuts holding/locking the
plastic piece of knob onto the metal rod located inside the cushion
bench. Just tie a some long string below the nut so that you still can
pull the attached string in order to release or to lock the bench.
This is actually for the safety of the 3rd row passenger also because if
the bench is not been locked up, if during emergency brake, then the
people sitting on the 3rd row bench will be thrown to the front because
most probably the bench will also fold down and this might cause some
injury.
By the way, do you intend to service outside? I also forget to ask PH
AUto whether they have the oil filter for ERV. Did you also get the oil
filter from PH AUto? How much you bought it for?
Thanks

Actually I'm staying in Cheras. It took me some time to get to PH Auto as
I'm not so familiar with PJ area. Only SS2 moderately familiar.
FYI, I have checked with my father that Lion Motor now no longer service
ERV as they no longer able to get the parts at a distributor rates. Now
my father also sending his car for the 1st time service at this
authorised (or actually recommended) Suzuki ERV aircond service center.
They are located at Kampung Pandan just deeper inside the along those
Shop lots along the SM Aminudin Baki.
Just out of curiosity how much you got your 2nd hand ERV and which year
of car is that?
Thanks

You can refer to my previous reply for the direction to the Air Cond
Service Shop. The name of the shop is call Harison.
Anything come back from the Shamsul Auto accessory shop?
Another thing want to check with you, when I refer to the user manual, it
stated that fuel filter will need to be changed at 105000km. Did you
change yours?

Wah touch wood so far my father ERV never had a problem with the EPS. I
heard that now the authorise service center for ERV has been given to DRB
HIcom, the one do the servicing for Swift. Maybe you can call to check up
if they do servicing for ERV. I do not know anybody outside mechanic
doing electric power steering one woh.
Regarding the fuel filter you can refer to the Owner Manual (if you have
it) on the 'Inspection & Maintenance" pg 8-3.

Sorry but my father also just heard from the Lion Motor foreman that they
are now no longer service ERV as DRB HIcom is now the sole distributor
for all Suzuki cars.
Perhaps you can find out from the Swift owner in this forum or you can
try to Google it.
