Actually majesty just like other scooter in the market which using belting
system with 8 bering instead of 6 bering in the other model.

Anybody using Majesty? Is it good to commute at 120km/h hiway from Melaka
to KL, everyday? Any chance Hong Leong Yamaha bring in new Majesty400?

Asked Hong Leong Yamaha. Majesty 400 CBU RM45k + 50% import tax + 10%
excise + 5% sales tax = around RM70k. Kalau minat sesangat order la
sebijik. R6 lagi murah kot. Majesty 250 late 90's banyak jugak kat few
dealers around RM8.5k to RM13k. Tengok sebijik tersadai tunggu repair kat
Kajang, terasa put off pulak! Sapa yang ada atau pernah punyai motor ni
tolong la bagi input sikit....

I got one therefore I ask if there are another user here to share the
experience. Bought in 2003 for 2001 second hand just for 10K.

Use it for about one year and a half now. So far I'm very happy with my
majesty 250. maintenance wise, I can say no problem at all, just change
the oil according to schedule. Although It just comes with about 21 HP,
you can feel the acceleration and torque. At traffic light nothing beat me
so far and in the highway I can easily cursing at 140 KMH or 85 MPH (FYI:
the Speedo and Odometer is in MPH). Fuel Consumption is about 17
mile/liter for town use. I use daily to commute to work place and it took
me only 20 minutes to travel for 20 km in KL (maybe less if I speed).
The only problem I face with this bike at the moment is just the ware and
tare also the part price - like bimmer or merch. The tyre ware very fast,
I believe it is due to heavy chassis. In 4 to 6 month you have to change
and the price is about RM 200 each. I try to use the cheep locally made
tyre, but it skid in the rain even in low speed. My side mirror was stolen
and it cost me RM160 each!

If you like to get one, try not to get it in KL. Second hand price in KL
is very high and most of it is over use. Look for the milage and bodywork!

Gila kaa... angkat R6 lagi bagus. Cheaper too.
