ahboy,

what is "Sun Pei"? "Sun Bay" izzit? Big Smile not a secrete lar...

guys,

not a secete actually, just an idea.

when a fan rotates due to the ram air without any power suply, the motor
generates electricity (DC). If a second fan (with motor) is connected to
the first one that generate the DC. The second fan will have extra
rotation force due to the DC supplied. So there is a loop. Faster the
first fan rotates due to the ram air, more Dc is generated. Hence the
second fan rotates faster, which generate more flow. More flow, first fan
faster, then second fan also faster.....and it continues until an
equilibrium is reached - or the motor in the second fan burns.

Just an idea on my next DIY project - "autoturbo".

The problem is, how to cut the current when it ecceded 12V. Or is there
any small-size 24V DC or hihger motor that can be fitted into the fan.

Another problem is, the PC fan actually has some diods inside that will
only allow an one-way input but not output.

Just an idea. Please kindly share your opinions. Really need some input.

drexchan, but you have a problem is, where you can get a speed fan, normal
PC fan speed is 5400rpm, the good quality will be 10000rpm. i dont think
this rotation can help you much to force compress the air. (always remember
the turbo system genarate the compression is not by the turbo fin) so you
need atleast have a 30000rpm fan to do it. try to find the solution convert
your cd to AC, as i remember AC fan can go higher rpm limit
