wow! long list of rambling, i'm a proton owner myself,

I have my proton saga iswara sent back for warranty 1 day after i get my
car, what happened? my back seat's manual window (yes, others have already
incl. auto window as standard acc.) belt is broken.

imagin such simple part in the car cannot maintain its quality, how to
maintain quality of a complex car engine?

....

more over, proton is going back to 80's where you guy just assemble
mitsubishi and add tiger logo on it. shame on you.

why Proton can sign MoU with MMC within such a short time after minang VW
tak jadi?

- barely simple, to save proton market share price from falling
further ... but that is a temporary measure, lots of things needed to work
out and up for next 6 mths with MMC!

why MMC willing to sign MoU with Proton?

- pull or push, nobody know. (if don't sign, maybe they've to price lancer
at 150k, colt at 180k, grantis at 200k, ... or tak bagi AP, ini soal hidup
mati MMC dekat M'sia, what to do?? )

we have to pray and hope for "reasonable deal" btw Proton and MMC, and
hopefully it will not affecting other cars and pricing models in the near
future.

tak jadi? why MMC willing to sign MoU with Proton?

VW wants to control proton, so buleh blah. while proton & MMC previously
has a good relationship untill TM came. please remeber that our current
CEO here is a former proton guys in its early yrs & so to get a tie with
MMC is much easier with Zainal as CEO. basiclally, everybody feels the
heat in auto industry. both cumpany also facing market share drop. its
for mutual benefit. toyota oledi giving perodua to produce Myvi which is
quite a new model in Japan. so it is not possible for mitshu to give even
grandis as a model to fill proton's gap in MPV segment. after all, like u
say kbrman, grandis now sell at RM200k, around 40k more than Toyota wish
or Honda stream. if toyota can give Myvi, Kia can give Ria, why cant MMC.
both proton & MMC market share will rise. at the same time, proton will
have enuff do their R&D for their own MPV & any other market gap that has
not been filled yet like SUV, 4WD, etc. so i say yes to their latest
move. joint venture with petronas also will reduce protons total R&D cost
involving engine developement. Cool

Grandis is not in the catergory as stream and wish.it's higher end . it
should be in the same catergory as Estima and odyssey. As for R&D by
potong...hmmm ,they can't even get their design right in the first place.
