at " Panjang Car Letrik " ( Cinese guy )in Ulu Klang. He's expert to check
wiring from Proton to Porche.

Guys,
250-270 miles sounds similar to mine which translates to about 420++kms. Perhaps the
Persona was tuned for slightly more power? Dunno...but according to my manual, 8+kms/
litre was quoted (and a max speed of 192km/h - uwaaahhhhh), so 420kms is just about
rite.
550kms is bloody good mileage for whatever car la...how does she do it?? :O

i'm driving a 1.5 glsi persona. on the wiring issue, i'm very sure it
distinguihes from local wira. i bought it without alarm and when i
installed the alarm, the installer had a bit of difficulties to tap on
the correct wire. he asked me whether my car is a persona or wira, from
there on i know that the wiring is different.
in terms of performance, i'd say my persona does good job compare to
local stock wira... mine is auto.
so far there is no rat in the kitchen sounds as commonly found in wira
but i dunno whether it is my luck or the persona quality.
in the engine bay, i suspect the injection system is not the same that
installed for local injection wira, but again i can't confirm on that.
The clear indication is it has the EFI plate on it where in wira i
couldnt find that.
i've been driving persona for 6 yrs and still reliable but not as it was
6 yrs ago. i'm thinking of dropping a 4g93 later this year, repaint and
ICE instead of grabbing a new 7 yrs loan hehehe

Having bought the Persona H line for more than one month, here is my
experience so far
- power window rosak
- squeaking noise from back seat
- door cannot close properly
- engine feels under powered
- yesterday, I smelt a burningin the car. Need to take to service centre to
check it out
- comes bundled with a very lousy GPS navigation system. I complained and
complained and finally got a refund for this useless GPS from Proton.

My friends persona are having problem just 2 weeks after buying it and
quiet a major problem to, he said its something about the pulley for the
timing belt and because of that the engine is not working properly, he
when back to proton and they fix it ..
I think its true what they say about proton cars, never buy new model
first batch, sure have many problem, buy second or third batch by then
they should already know and fix the first batch problems .. in a way the
first batch owner is their R&D rats .. poor guys ..
