I think you should visit another dealer who is more honest instead of
trying to tempt you to buy earlier with his sweet rubbish talk.
800+ units nationwide are CBU? Ask him for the latest Naza-Kia stock list
and you will see that in Malaysia, there are less than 100 units available
for delivery. This includes stocks of both EX and EXS in all colours at all
warehouse and branch locations. This inventory list is updated DAILY and is
readily available at all Naza-Kia outlets if you ask nicely.
In any event, so what if the car is CKD? Take a look at the CKD Optima and
tell me if you have any issues with the assembly quality. Paintwork is
top-notch and all fittings are in order.
However, it may be true that early batches will have more imported parts.
I am waiting for my car to be delivered so if the 800+ units are CBU, why
am I waiting so damn long?

for a car loan for Naza Citra. The process took only 3 days where on the
2nd day a bank officer called to check my application and 3rd day to
confirm approval of my loan. After that, I cancelled the loan to take Rondo.
I took AmBank again the 2nd time, but JB branch and this time they really
are slow. Took a week to complete the process. And that was after 3 times
calling the loan processing dept. for follow ups. My advice to you kevin is
to call up the bank officer in charge of your loan. You can get the contact
number from the sales agent. Hope you get your Rondo soon. ^_^
BTW, yesterday took my Rondo for a drive up to Melaka. Max speed I got was
190kmph with a 4500 RPM. I think if downhill probably can reach 200kmph.
This is really a blardy good engine. Going 140kmph, the RPM needle only
stays at 3500.

only worry was the re-sale value for this cars only. Anyhow, i & my wife

other rondo thread. Most times, I didn't notice my speed already pass
120kmph. At 140kmph, I could take pictures of my odometer, but too bad this
thread doesn't support pics. ^_^ At 180kmph, hard to notice the nvh because
my heart pumping so loud. hehehe....I've never driven past 140kmph before
this. So first time trying top speed really scare me abit. But I can assure
you the engine is humming nicely even at 4500rpm. The only penetrable sound
is the rattling noise of the things inside the passenger compartment. Wind
noise at minimal level.
In terms of stability, I can say its very good. I don't exactly know how to
define stable in such a high speed, but for a few seconds I let go the
steering, and it didn't shake or turn sideways. That few seconds, I feel
like blood draining out my head. So yes, its stable. But don't try to make
sharp turns with your steering during the high speed laa. For sure
something bad will happen.
Nothing we can do about the re-sale value. Its not just the model,
basically all Naza models have bad re-sale value. Probably the exception of
Sorento and Sportage. I'm hopeful that it won't be the case with Rondo, but
the market seemed to be very sceptical with Kia/Naza brand. To be honest,
even good cars can end up with low re-sale value due to other reasons, and
even bad cars can have high re-sale values. I don't wanna mention any
particular model, later ppl might bash me. :P
Anyway, congrats on your purchase. Glad to see more new owners of Citra ll
Rondo.

improved to around 10.2 to 10.0ltr/100km. I was impressed the C2 peformed
at NS highway, so stable and you hit the 120km/h unnoticable. Since it
still new, I dare not to hit more than 130km. All the passenger felt so
comfort with the ride.
On the negative point, I missed my Waja road handling capability but hey
this is a difference catergory all to together. 2nd is the Handbrake,
actually a footbrake (since located at the foot pedal), whenever I pull
the brake switch the footbrake will release but kena my leg, I need to
retract my leg a bit before I pull the switch. I still prefer the T.Wish
method of release the brake, use foot to push deeper to release it.
Oh, yes I saw a red C2 yesterday at Muar, is that you funnytone?

for a while before deciding to participate in this. Overall, the car has
been great and I think we have got a very good package; no shortchanging
like other brands. Ha ha! I got the EXS and the handling is amazing as
compared to my previous H City.
Only thing is that whether u guys realised that our C2 does not have an
alarm system? The car only comes with a remote central lock+immobiliser.
Hope this Kia alarm is available as an add on option. Did not want to opt
for other 3rd party alarm system since it usually involves opening of
panels and cutting of wires. The other option is to go for a steering lock
with alarm+paging function. Jusco is selling T-Rex at $699 but I am still
looking around.
As for fuel consumption, I think we can get around 8l/100km for steady
legal speed with 2 pax. Using scangauge to measure this and the result is
constant.

I realised that the water temp usually lingers close to 90C range. ~86 to
89C. Do you guys think its a bit high. My previous ride is only at ~82 to
84C range... The temp gauge on the C2 is at slightly less than half mark
though on the meter. Do you guys read the same?

beast itself comparing both. Change your mindset driving your mpv vs a
sedan. No corner baring lah. I also miss my waja BUT the 407 does heaps
better
