Moumou4, yesterday is not today. My friend told me about it & before that
his got 1 genuine buyer and 2 prospect. What to do...he has to call them &
tell the latest price. And you can expect their response... TARIK BALIK!!!!

RIDICULOUS Pricing for the C3. But they'll be going for the niche market
or die hard loyal Citroenietes.

I can see the marketing side will promote 'the' Sensodrive as a selling
gimmick. How reliable?????

I took a look at the C3 yesterday at PGRM. Asking price as above (more
than RM100k). Although I like the car, I will only pay max RM95k for it.
Same chassis as the 206 with the same engine as the 206 & 307. Citroen has
always been priced below the equivalent Pug and there is no reason why the
C3 should be selling at almost RM8k more than the 206 1.6. Besides, the
specs of the C3 isn't much in the first place.

C3 at RM110k? tsk tsk....

You pay 110k, the moment you drive out of the showroom, the value would
drop to rm75k.

if you can price it low enough, get the volume, that will cover your
margins. Plus it'll make PSA happy. Its the volume that counts!
Don't they learn economics at school?

Since the c3 is here, i guess there's no space for the face lifted xsara
in our market?

wah really priced above RM100k ah? crazy man...

only die hard fans will buy lah...

at that price... if people are buying based on engine c.c. and price...
very hard to compete at this kind of pricing... too many choices

I saw a lime green one at subang parade last weekend RM108 OTR, was pretty
cute, but i wouldn't buy one just for the senso drive and cuteness more of
a ladies car IMHO....design stolen abit from the bug IMHO.

Next to it was the Subaru station wagon 1.6; RM105 OTR; ringgit for
ringgit the Subaru would be my choice if i am the average consumer.

Niche market hothatch the c3 isn't, thats my 2¢ ...neither a sedan or hatch

twilight... in actual fact, the C3 didn't steal anything from the beetle... rumour has it that
the C3 is actually based on the same platform as that of it's great great great
grandfather.... the 2CV...

but like you say... for that price... unlikely they can sell at all...

I'm a bit confusing with the price I just post last 2 days. As I mentioned
about the price up at RM110k and then a few days later the price back to
RM98k(current price). Ask my friend how come the price keep on "bouncing"?
I foresee if the mgmt keep on playing customer interest, you'll not become
a player for tommorrow. I'm not blaming my friend since he's only a
salesman. You know what the first statement they've made about its price,
RM98k for c3 is only for the first 50 customers. But then they've made
another statement, RM98k for c3 is valid before official launch (dunno
when??). But i heard the official launch will be made together with c8.
Does "Directional" reflects to their practice?
