few days ago, on Jalan Tun Razak heading towards North, I saw this
situation, that I can classified as 'amusing' and 'humiliating' at the
same time....

One Mits rally rocket, yellow in color, might be in it's 6th evolution
were 'dominating' the street with it's tremendous acceleration and hissing
sound of air escaping from the blow-off (may I call it as 'show-off', no
heart feeling... k?) valve....

undoubtedly, whoever the driver was, he is the 'Road King' that nite...

to spoilt his status as the 'ruler' that nite are traffic, not many gaps
can be fill, as vehicles are everywhere...

suddenly, from the rear, I heard something, like Button's machine ready to
blow it's engine...

a blue bullet out from nowhere, with the advantages of compact, small
package, zig-zagging all the norms, till it reached it's last target, the
yellow 6...

engine roaring, might be in 3rd transmission position... 3, 2, 1... GO!!

the ending... the 6 cant go anywhere because of it's bulky appearance,
although it is equipped with one of the best in-line four... while the
bullet, i aint know man... it just disappeared!!

Well, i have also seen such situation involving fast cars...

I was at one of the junction at Jelatek waiting for the light to turn
green. Suddenly one chap driving an Audi Quattro (if i'm not
mistaken)...he was revving and revving and his car sounds heavily modded.
Anyway, what else...he was showing off, rev rev rev!! And when the light
finally turned green, his car stalled!! Big Smile All of us were moving while
he was trying to get his car started...hehehehe!!

the blue bullet was an Honda eg...

I dunno la... but now i start to believe that big bulky car is not
suitable for 'furious actions' on the city streets....

but big, bulky, pricey car are VERY GOOD if u looking for 'attention' from
other road users... it is a signature of satus and wealth...

but believe me, there are people with 911 turbo at home, but still driving
an Honda EK for 'real action'...

this yellow Mitsi rally rocket which u described as "big bulky car" -
izzit a Galant VR4? or heavier and bukier?
i guess by "heavy n bulky" you must mean sumthing that weighs much much
more than say, a Proton Wira? Say 1500kg and above?
i guess the moral of the story is: whatever (expensive) car u have,
there's nuthing like driving a Honda for "real action"?

nope, it is an mits evo 6 i think... with that C-class look alike tail
lights...

u pretty get the idea... however, the point is, bigger n heavier n
expensive n powerful car, let say, a skyline gtr compare with a 'bikin'
satria evo, are not that suitable for illegal street racing on the city
streets...

on the highway, ok lah... sure will leave the satria dozens of 'tiangs'...

not just Honda, though Honda is a very good example of reliable sport
compact machines for city racing...

get the idea? u might think that I am a fanatical Honda freak... ? do you?
well, I am sometime, but that is totally a different story... it is not
the point...

Hmmm, i think u got that wrong:
- evos weight range from 1250kg to 1360kg, they are certainly not "heavy".
As for size, they aen't big and bulky either. They are essentially same
size as yr average Wira.
- on the contrary, 4WD evos n scoobies are the MOST ideal for street
racing, all the more so when they come equipped wth LSDs. This makes them
more nimble n able to take sudden lane-changes (wild swings n the like) or
fast sharp bends which wd normally caus ea FQWD to understeer.
- on the contrary again, evos n scoobies are not good for hiway (read "hi-
speed") use. A NA car may well beat the Evo/Rex at hi speed (generally
accepted, turbo 4WDs not good in this respect). As a matter of fact,
there are a few modded NAs which will beat these 4WDs AFTER those few
tiangs.

"u might think that I am a fanatical Honda freak... ? do you?"
i wouldn't dare to think that way, but i daresay u may have gotten some of
yr facts wrong on Turbo 4WDs.

Peace, bro!
