what would be your advice about buying a used one ? thru ebay, etc or
locally ? dun wan to break the bank but if thats the price that i must pay
then what can i say ?

anyone here using those mentioned by sifu vegatron that i can come and
look/listen first ?

Buy locally, if you cant find the high end models fr here, goto Singapore.

7998 is RM2800 or less, if not mistaken. Price drop a lot already.

Besides that, you can always try Naka MB 100.

what u need to do is learn, read, chat, etc, etc.

actually what is your budget for HU? 0.6k or 3.6k? i thought your budget
is 3.6k and that's why we (vegatron and myself) ask u to think again for
the HU.

if RM0.6k -- pioneer 5550mp is a good choice. I'm currently using it(not
to worry it can play those pirate CD very well) and might be sell it off
this coming february for Alpine CDA9815.

now myself also "pening". If can get Alpine 7998 for <>2.5k might take
that one instead of Alpine CDA9815. so that the reason why we must learn
from a forum like this.

9815 n 7998 same features, sound diff. carefull which one you buy, some
prefer the sound of the 7998.

all HUs sound diff.

If you have more than 5K budget, Eclipse has a in dash 2_DIN, cd, dvd, mp3
& MS player, with inbuilt TFT display. Love it!...
