Personally I feel 2din is a waste of money, pay so much more for the same
thing. It's a CD player ain't it? Big Smile

for 3.6k I'd buy a competition standard HU already. Big Smile

vegatron @ master of sushi,

fully support what u have said. don't judge the player by it looks. u may
get boring with the looks after 1@2 years using it. don't waste on the
look but search or hunt for sound quality.
for 3.6k i can get a good(if not the best) single din HU.

since the masters have spoken....
then i shall learn !!! Big Smile

single-din is the way to go then.(i very easy to convince wan, thats why
scared to go straight to shop, must learn siap-siap first leh Big Smile)

first i thot wanna put 2-din cos of the size and a bit akward shape of my
current stock hu, so if put 1-din only take half of the space n gonna look
real ugly, man ! Frown

aiya that one no problem one lar, the installer shd know how to cover up
nicely for you.

With a big budget buy a kickass HU , dun waste the extra $$$ on double din.

JVC SH707 or SH909
Eclipse 8051 or 8061 or the newer 8 series
Alpine 7998
Pioneer 8450 or newer model
Clarion 925
Naka MB100
Naka CD700

These are superb decks ,... and the funny thing is,... they are all 1
din,.. strange huh?

aiyo, dude, where got big budget wan.....Big Smile
after reading thru the forum, slow is the way to go to maximise
satisfaction.

been surfing thru the web reading about awards for best hu and it all
points to one !! Alpine 7998 !! is it really that good ??Shock

depending on price, i'm cutting it down to the jvc/alpine/pioneer but can
these play 'pirates' without problems ? skipping etc ?
