hi robest,

I think for my opinion go and get the ford tx-3 engine back.i am not
talking about the lynx 1.8 but the jerung. That engine is already good
enough with no headaches.Just get the proper engine and maintain it your
car will be cruising in the road.TX-3 engine will realy make you
satisfied.if you want more horses then go for the B8 210 halfcut.

About the v6 engine it is also another mad biatch but your maintenance
will be much much more higher then the 1.8.your engine room is very
compact so each time you need to do any gasket leaks, oil seals, timing
belt etc you need to lift out your engine.Futher more your labour charges
will be also high.

bro its your choice and do the right selection.I m still finding for a
ford tx-3 again but still cant get a nice 1.If any out there dont forget
to inform me.

cheers....FORD RACING.....

Robest..

what yoga said... is true......
TX3 samapan engine really powerfull .....maintenance also not that high
la.... now proton`s maintenance goes high .....so better get a tx3
engine..with gearbox...Nowadays very difficult to get tx3 gearbox...
because... B8 fellow tapau tx3 gearbox long time ago......

Ford lynx 1.8 manual gearbox internal parts exactly same with tx3 sampan
gearbox..except the final drive gear..

Almost one month my car was in workshop....because of little problem in
the gear linkage inside the gearbox...

Finall my mechanic got a tx3 lynx 1.8 gear box.... we just replaced alll
the parts into my gearbox housing.... and i keep my internal parts as
backupo for future use.... My tx3 long live d..May GOD bless my TX3..

My poor FORD is still in the workshop cos the 1/2 cut of the Mazda Lantis 2.0 cannot fit. It can only be fitted after much cutting and pasting which I do not agreed to. I was also warned that there will be much problem for maintaince later. Changing a timing belt will require the entire engine to be taken out etc etc..

I had been advice to look for a Lantis 1.8 engine instead... and I am still waiting for a suitable one to come along...

Anyone can help???

Cheers
