It's the same 10k discount plus a few more personal discount to top up my Kembara trade-in value. I was asking for more since it's a 2011 model but non was given based on that. He mentioned the 10k is the only one they can officially give. Did you go for the 1k km service? How much was it? It's stated 5k per service for subsequent km.

He was saying the 2012 arriving models might not have the 10k discount. If not mistaken there are a few more 2011 models leftovers.

hi zoidberg,

welcome to the club. seesm like the 10K offer is 'forever'. initially said 50 units but i think more than that by now. 1K service labour is free. only engine oil. should not more than RM250.

i am using Shell Helix H7 5W-30 E which is low ash for DPF engine.

I did the 1k service. Costs can't remember but not more than RM300. I think it is slightly cheaper at PJ SC compared to USJ. Only that USJ can see the work being done on the car and quick service.

I notice that when I lift my right foot off the pedal and as it slows down, the engine is reluctant to go down to idling speed. Whereas in my Rexton in the same case, as the speed drops below 80kmph, the engine drops to idling speed and it glides along freely. The Actyon feels laboured by the drag of the engine. Any bros notice this in theirs?

Woot got my Actyon! It's the AWD model.
Yes even the rear passenger seat (driver side) window didn't work the first time I tried it but it works now. Hmmm...

Where do you guys go for the first 1k service? Or skip it?
Should I stick to the main branch or the one in subang?
Thank you thank you.

Thanks. Mines picking up millege pretty fast. Daily travel of around 80km per day so gotta plan ahead.
Meanwhile it's 11.4 L per 100km now.
I had white smoke coming out of the exhaust at one time when I pushed the engine real hard and idle at the traffic lights.

I will take a look see after work today. Currently my idling is around 900-1,100 rpm.

hi rex4585,

it is normal for most current cars. it is like engine braking and u don't have to step brake on it. it gives u more 'connection' between engine and gearbox. it could be due to torque convertor lock up. it should not increase FC during that dragging moment.

In my case I think it is not normal. Even when the speed slows down the idling will still maintain just above 1000rpm eagerly pulling the suv forward at a not so slow pace. Have to apply brakes very hard to stop it running away. Will try to check with SC at next service though I doubt they will be able to resolve this issue or even understand my complaint.

Looks like 2012 models not likely to arrive here soon as last year's stock still available.

Could it be the fuel injection timing is higher than necessary that should be able to tune in the map?

Ok here is what I observed for mine.
When I am at 80 kmph and lift the foot, the rpm went down to 1,100 rpm idling speed.
When I am at 100 kmph and lift the foot, it does not immediately goes down to 1,100 rpm. It remains high.

Hope this helps.

Hello all from New Zealand.

I have the Korando SPR as it is called here. Interesting, I have the vibration issue at 80km but it disappear after 100kmh so I am not too fussed about it.

FC wise, i think it will improve as the diesel engine need to bed in and that will take some KMs.. I am enjoying the car and would be using it for an extensive road trip in NZ south island soon. More than 3000km driving!
