was at ttdi vw just now, saw and ask about the polo sedan, was told it a little over 100K, a very very basic, non turbo, 6 speed AT car.

Too expensive may as well get the tsi version. Lost opportunity for VW.

Anything above 90K is a failure. Polo is competing with Fiesta & 207 range. Thats my personal view.

Is this the CBU or CKD version. If its CBU then the CKD will be cheaper.

maybe still not too much, as seen from passat CBU about 185k, heard CKD 170k.
so that's why the CBU Polo GTI at 135k is a better buy? No stock and have long wait list.

Passat CKD is selling at rm170K. Hence, I am not surprised if they price it above 95K or even 105K. But I can say it will then not be able to sell in volume.
Simple. Just look at 308VTi. Selling at rm99K with loads of whistle and bells. 4-airbags, dual-zone climate controls, auto-wipers, auto-lights. And if you check around how many 308VTi Nasim sell a month then you will know what I mean by pricing a conti car that is as small as Fiesta at rm90K+ price, will not work.
Will know it tonight.
