For the first time in the 911’s history, Porsche is introducing a hybrid drivetrain designed from the ground up for performance. The 911 Carrera 4 GTS features a “T-Hybrid” system that leverages F1-inspired electric turbocharging and a compact high-voltage battery system.

Key highlights of the 911 Carrera 4 GTS include:

  • Engine: 3.6L twin-turbocharged flat-six (boxer) engine

  • Electric turbocharger: Single turbo setup with integrated electric motor between turbine and compressor

  • System output:

    • ICE only: 357 kW (485 PS), 570 Nm

    • Combined: 398 kW (541 PS), 610 Nm

  • Electric assistance:

    • Turbocharger motor acts as a generator (up to 11 kW)

The Mazda MX-5 is a motoring icon and the nameplate is now 35 years young. In celebration of this legendary roadster, Mazda has released a commemorative MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition. This is a highly exclusive model of which Bermaz Motor, the local distributor, has been allocated less than a handful of units (4), due to the very limited production. Mazda MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition_Bermaz

If the Mazda MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition is out of reach, and you still want the world’s best-selling roadster, Bermaz has made available the 2025 Mazda MX-5 with updated features.

The refreshed 2025 Mazda MX-5 RF range features updated styling, new features, and improved performance across both manual and automatic variants. While the 35th Anniversary Edition caters to true enthusiasts and collectors, the updated 2025 MX-5 lineup offers a more accessible route to owning this iconic driver’s car.

A Tribute To 35 Years Of Driving Joy

Since its global debut in 1989, the MX-5 has embodied Mazda’s Jinba Ittai philosophy – the perfect unity between driver and machine. Over 4 generations, this roadster has remained faithful to its lightweight, rear-wheel-drive formula, evolving with each iteration while retaining its core essence. Mazda MX-5 Generations

The 35th Anniversary Edition is a homage to that legacy. It debuts exclusively in Artisan Red Premium, a deep and lustrous shade developed through Mazda’s Takuminuri painting process, and reserved only for this special model. Further, a serialized 35th Anniversary badge on the rear fender marks its exclusivity, while 17″ Bright Metallic alloy wheels and body-coloured mirrors complete its distinguished exterior.

Classic Meets Contemporary Inside

The 35th Anniversary Edition’s cabin is equally distinctive. Sports Tan leather seats embossed with the 35th Anniversary logo on the headrest complement matching trim across the dashboard and floor mats. Exclusive Artisan Red Premium accents around the air vents and door panels tie the exterior to the interior, blending nostalgic design cues with modern Mazda elegance.

This special edition isn’t just about aesthetics, it also benefits from the latest enhancements introduced across the MX-5 range, including updated lighting, connectivity, and driver assistance systems.

2025 MX-5 Line-Up: Updated, Available, And Just as Fun

While the Anniversary Edition is limited in quantity, fans can still experience the thrill of the MX-5 with the updated 2025 Mazda MX-5 RF (Retractable Fastback), now available for booking in Malaysia. All variants feature refreshed exterior styling, including new LED lighting elements front and rear, revised bumpers (with the rear getting reflectors and fog light), and Aero Gray, a new exterior colour option that debuted on the Mazda2 and CX-3.Mazda MX-5 RF_2025

Comprehensive EV Ecosystem With The e.MAS App

To support EV adoption, PRO-NET has worked to ensure that Proton e.Mas 7 owners have access to over 2,300 public charging points in Malaysia. This is currently a coverage of more than 90% of the country’s public charging infrastructure. These charging points are operated by various providers such as Gentari, JomCharge, chargEV, DC Handal, Chargesini, Carput Zap, RExharge, and Charge+.

In addition, 75 DC fast-charging points (up to 120 kW) are available at selected Proton, e.Mas, and smart, dealerships nationwide. These locations help ensure convenient charging options, particularly for long-distance EV users.

To further enhance convenience, the Proton e.Mas app integrates all major charging point operators into a single live map. It also enables users to pay for charging sessions directly through the app. Since its launch, PRO-NET has recorded 1,145 charging sessions via the app over a three-month period.

“Our goal is not just to sell cars. We want to nurture a complete ecosystem that not only includes 36 dealerships with DC charging points and after-sales service but also the entire Malaysian EV charging infrastructure. We’re also working closely with CPOs (Charge Point Operators) to make EV ownership more convenient as we want our customers to have a seamless transition from ICE to EV, and enjoy their EV ownership experience,” said Zhang. Proton eMas7_Cockpit_Dashboard_Infotainment_Steering
