Ford roadshow @ 1 Utama, 25-29 April
Ford’s latest line-up of vehicles are available on display at the new wing of 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya from today 25 April until Sunday, 29 April 2012. Visitors to the Ford roadshow can view their favourite Ford vehicles up close or participate in various games and challenges to win exclusive merchandises.
Cars on display include the Fiesta, Focus, and soon-to-be launched Ford Ranger T6. A point to note is that both display units of the T6 3.2 at the venue are Aussie-spec models and not fully reflective of Malaysian-spec units. Local distributors, Sime Darby Auto Connexion will be offering the Ranger T6 in three variants – 2.2 XLT M/T, 2.2 XLT A/T, and 3.2 Wildtrak A/T.
Also worth checking out are the Mondeo and S-Max, both featuring the uprated 2.0-litre EcoBoost T5 engine producing 237hp and 320Nm, up from the current 200hp and 300Nm. Both models also get additional equipment, and naturally, a price increase, which will be confirmed in due course.
In addition to viewing display cars, visitors can also indulge in some fun and games by trying their hands on the Ford Ranger simulator and several other challenges designed to promote the new Ranger T6’s all-round toughness and power. You can choose from arm-wrestling to show how much torque you can generate, or strap yourself to a towing cable and see how much weight you can pull.
