Kluang gets its First Proton 3S Centre
Kluang, 8 March 2019 – Kluang, Johor now has its first PROTON 3S Centre with the official opening of a dealership by Street Car Sdn Bhd (Street Car).
Street Car has been a PROTON dealer for past nine years, establishing this relationship with a 1S outlet in Johor Bahru city. To expand the relationship with PROTON and also to meet current market needs for a one-stop centre, Street Car decided to open a new 3S outlet in Kluang’s city centre.
The Kluang PROTON 3S outlet bears the company’s new Corporate Identity colours and cost RM3.5 million to set up. With a built-up area of 827 square meters, it has four bays and four hoists, and is equipped with complimentary WiFi, a coffee area, customer lounge, and ample parking space for customers.
“The decision to open a new 3S outlet in Kluang was an easy decision because we saw a lot of potential. As a dealer, I saw the positive change in how customers view PROTON since the launch of the Proton X70. Many have commented on how impressed they are with it and how the intelligent features are better than on any rival, so the Proton X70 has really put the brand back in the limelight, and I hope to able to profit from this new found attitude,” said Mr. Soong Chai Huat, Managing Director of Street Car Sdn Bhd.
PROTON now has 75 3S/4S outlets nationwide, the most of any automotive brand in Malaysia. “For our business to thrive, we need sufficient 3S/4S outlets to operate. This is important as we need to make it easier for customers to visit us for their sales and service needs. From the beginning, we were very clear that customers remain as the focal point of our entire business model so every single decision carried out is to ensure optimal customer satisfaction,” said Dr. Li Chunrong, Chief Executive Officer of PROTON.
