Teenager Gets Ride of His Lifetime in Ferrari
Naza Italia Sdn Bhd together with Ferrari Owners Club Malaysia and the Blue Jackets Society, recently joined efforts to make a young man’s dream come true.
Fifteen-year-old Ahmad Fakhru of Terengganu, through the help of Make-A-Wish® Malaysia, was able to convey his dream wish of being able to ride around the city in a Ferrari. He got his ride, and was accompanied all the way by a convoy of Prancing Horses.
Make-A-Wish® Malaysia Director of Wish Granting Sandra Kirwan expressed her gratitude to all parties who had enabled Fakhru’s wish to come true including Ferrari owner Dato’ Azahari who so generously arranged for Ahmad to enjoy a spin in his car and Jeffrey Wong’s assistance in enabling this wish to come true and also PJ Hilton for hosting Fakhru’s family for the weekend.
Datin Syarifah Farah Gumash, Chairperson of Make-A-Wish® Malaysia said, “We depend on the generosity and goodwill of our donors and sponsors to enable us to grant the heartfelt wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions and hope that more people and organisations will continue to assist us in this mission of enriching the human experience with hope, strength and joy.”
