Petronas Dynamic Diesel Euro 5 With Pro-Drive Now Available In Sabah

Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) has announced the availability of its Petronas Dynamic Diesel Euro 5 with Pro-Drive in Sabah. The rollout of its Euro 5 diesel will be expanded to 20 stations by the end of 2018, with more stations lined up in 2019 to ensure more customers in Sabah can have better quality and cleaner diesel.

Based on the test results, the Petronas Dynamic Diesel Euro 5 with Pro-Drive removes deposits and protects injectors thus allowing the fuel to effectively clean the engine, ensuring optimum engine efficiency.

The improved Petronas Dynamic Diesel Euro 5 with Pro-Drive promises to deliver three key benefits for diesel vehicles:

• Clean: Cleans and protects critical diesel engine parts to prolong engine life
• Efficient: Improves combustion, optimises engine performance and provides greater fuel economy
• Smooth: Easier to start, less vibration and smoother drive for a better journey

“At Petronas, we continuously improve our products to ensure that we offer our customers only the best. Since we launched this earlier in Peninsular and Sarawak, we have received good feedback and have seen a marked increase in our diesel sales volume. When compared to other diesel fuels in the market, test results showed that the Petronas Dynamic Diesel Euro 5 with Pro-Drive recorded higher a cetane number, which helps to improve combustion resulting in smoother drivability, cleaner emission and lower noise. Dynamic Diesel Euro 5 with Pro-Drive also has higher heating value, which means more energy per kilogram fuel to deliver better fuel economy.

The Experience to Believe road trip was organised earlier for various diesel car clubs to put this enhanced diesel fuel to test. One of the participants, Ritchie Fernandez, who drove a Mitsubishi Triton said, “The Petronas Dynamic Diesel Euro 5 with Pro-Drive reduces consumption, and provides savings about 2% – 3%.”

Lum Tuck Chin, a participant who owns a Ford Ranger, commented, “I definitely experience better fuel consumption. Even driving on the highway with heavy footer, I could still save about one litre per 100 kilometer.”
