2018 Malaysia Autoshow Offers Free Shuttle Service

The 2018 Malaysia Autoshow officially starts tomorrow (26 April) and will end 29 April at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) in Serdang. Visiting hours are 10 am – 9 pm.

For those who don’t wish to drive to MAEPS, the organiser, Malaysia Automotive Institute, is providing free shuttle services from several locations to the venue. The buses will run at hourly intervals on weekdays and half hourly on the weekend. Check out the image below:

Besides the exhibits of classic cars, and new cars, SUVs, etc, there are also test drive opportunities, as well as SUV and 4×4 off-road experiences. One of the key attractions will be the revived German brand, Borgward, which had a very popular premium model in the 1950s called the Isabella (there were apparently a handful sold here). Although we don’t expect the new Isabella concept to be at the Autoshow, we will most likely see the BX5 and BX7 SUVs. We are also expecting a couple of variant launches by Perodua and Volkswagen at the show.

And if you make a car purchase at the Autoshow, you will be in the running to win a Kia Picanto; 30 lucky car buyers will also receive petrol vouchers worth RM1,000 each.
