Volkswagen Automotive Academy Launched In Malaysia

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has officially launched the Volkswagen Automotive Academy in Malaysia. Volkswagen previously had a training academy in same area i.e. the automotive hub of Glenmarie in Shah Alam. This new facility has 14,117 sq ft of space equipped with the latest tools and equipment for aftersales (technical and non-technical), as well as sales training. The tools and equipment used are Volkswagen AG-certified and catered to the specific models in the Malaysian market.

Volkswagen Automotive Academy, VW Sales & Aftersales Training, MalaysiaThe academy has a multipurpose hall, 6 classrooms, and 4 work bays and 2 technical service center bays. It can accommodate up to 150 trainees per day in both sales and aftersales sections. There is also a designated room for parts system management training for inventory management. There are 13 certified trainers who train staff from the Volkswagen dealerships from around the country, according to Volkswagen standards. Training modules include soft and hard sales skills, technical simulations, diagnostics and functions. All VW dealerships’ sales and aftersales staff are required to undergo training and it is VPCM’s objective to improve the customer ownership experience with the eventual aim to boost sales.
