Acid splasher now hitting on cars?
Most of us living in the Klang Valley have heard of the notorious acid splasher(s) out permanently wrecking the faces of many innocent people. Earlier today, I was driving along the LDP Highway when I saw this white Honda City which seemed to have been splashed by some pretty corrosive stuff on its rear.
The metal and chrome bits appear unaffected, but the plastic stuff such as the taillights, number plate, bumper, and even the double-sided tape holding the badges in place appeared to have just melted away. Like every good kepochi citizen, I quickly whipped out my phone camera to get a few shots of the poor car. Picture quality is admittedly not as good as a proper SLR camera, so the damage when viewed in person appears more severe.
We wonder what was it that destroyed the car’s rear so badly. Hopefully it’s not the work of vandals, which will be the start of massive headaches for lots of people. Either way, it does not hurt for all of us to be a little more vigilant in these times.

Doesn’t look like a chemical attack but more like exposure to intense heat. The plastics seemed to melt down.
