Osram Night Breaker Plus halogen lights

Consumers looking for a good and reputable set of aftermarket headlamp bulbs may wish to consider Munich-based Osram’s Night Breaker Plus halogen bulbs, which is claimed to shine light up to 90% more intense and 10% whiter in addition to projecting up to 35 m further in comparison to standard bulbs.

According to Osram Malaysia Sdn Bhd CEO Bernd Malorny, the Night Breaker Plus utilises the patented blue ring coating technology, which results in less glare for other drivers. The light focuses its beam in a zone lying between 75 and 100 m in front of the vehicle, improving forward visibility. The Night Breaker Plus’ whiter light also helps to reduce eyestrain, thus minimizing fatigue.

With regards to the bulb’s durability, Osram claims that the Night Breaker Plus has up to 50% longer life span compared to the first generation Night Breaker lamps. this has been achieved by a new filament design and an optimized share of prime gas filling. On top of this, H4 and H7 type bulbs feature gold plated contacts for superior conductivity.

The Osram Night Breaker Plus headlamps are available in a variety of fitting types suitable for majority of cars using halogen-based lighting systems. Lamp types which the Night Breaker Plus are sold in are H1, H3, H4, H7, H11, HB3 and HB4.
