Shell Advance 4T Roadshow Finale attracts 10,000-strong crowd
The third and final leg of the Shell Advance 4T Roadshow, which took place at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, 16 April 2011, was able to attract a crowd of 10,000. Earlier legs, held in Penang and Johor Bahru attracted similarly strong participation of 5,000 and 8,000 visitors respectively.
Those who attended were able to witness the Shell Advance Battle of the Bands Grand Finals, and an attempt by Ducati owners to enter Malaysia Book of Records with the largest gathering of Ducati motorcycles. The convoy of 110 Ducati superbikes, in the face of a heavy downpour, had earlier flagged off from Naza Auto Mall in Petaling Jaya, and made its way to the event venue.

Coming in second were Penang-leg winners The Bombers, followed by First Step in third.
Other activities of the day’s programme included a best-dressed motorcycle competition, radio-controlled mini bikes races and various Nintendo Wii and iPad games featuring attractive prizes. As part of its on-ground promotions, Shell gave visitors a chance to win 300 free packs of the new Shell Advance 4T motorcycle oils during the event.
