Petron Malaysia launches new Petron Fleet Card
Petron Malaysia today launched its new microchip-based Petron Fleet Card designed to give its corporate customers a more effective means to monitor and control its fleet fuel expenses through a real-time online tracking system.
“With the new Petron Fleet Card, corporate customers have better control over their fleet expenditure while eliminating the hassle of cash transactions. The new chip card technology secures every transaction for customers’ comfort and safeguards against tampering,” said Pn Faridah Ali, Petron Malaysia’s Head of Retail Business.
Advanced features of the Petron Fleet Card allow customers to set purchase limits and track fuel expenses through its e-Invoice online facility. As an additional security feature, the new card comes with Dual Card functionality which requires simultaneous identification of vehicle and driver before any transaction is allowed.
The new fleet card is available to all fleet owners with a minimum of three vehicles has a credit term of 31 days. Existing holders of the magnetic-stripe ‘Esso Mobil’ Fleet Card will be automatically upgraded to the new Petron Fleet Card with their previously accumulated loyalty points carried over. The card is issued free of charge, with no annual fees or service charges.
